ASPIRE recently held a session on Advances in understanding oocyte structure and function at the 2017 ASRM Scientific Congress & Expo in San Antonio, Texas, United States.
The session was held on Monday, 30 October 2017 from 16:00 – 17:30. The session covers “Assessing Oocyte and Embryo Quality by Mitochondrial Function” by Prof Chii-Ruey Tzeng, ASPIRE President; “R Metabolism and Physiology of the Human Embryo” by Prof David Gardner, University of Melbourne and “The Nature of Sperm Egg Interaction and Implications for Understanding of Oocyte Function” by Prof Umemoto Ohto, University of Tokyo. The session was chaired by Prof Atsushi Tanaka, Aspire Board Member.
