Dear ASPIRE Members,
As we enter the second half of 2022, Fertility and Reproduction is about to publish its 15th on-line journal.
The next two editions will be a little different as they will feature abstracts of presentations at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) held in Sydney from 1 to 3 August 2022. The FSANZ has met annually since 1982, except for 2019 and 2020 because of COVID-19 restrictions.
These two editions will enable all members of ASPIRE to read about presentations at this important meeting in our region. This is a great collaborative effort between ASPIRE and FSANZ, and I am grateful to the Boards of both these Societies to allow us to do this.
We are also able to apply for PubMed listing. However, the expert advice is that we should delay this until next year when we have published further excellent articles and reviews. Whilst it is important for us to get the listing as soon as possible, we want to have the best chance of a successful application.
Finally, I thank those of you who have donated your time to referee submitted papers, and thanks also to our Associate Editors and our Secretariat.
Our Foundation Secretary, Yanny Wu, has recently moved on to another position, and I would like to thank her for excellent support in conjunction with Hoa Jing Qi. Yanny’s position has been filled by Cassandra Mak, who is currently on maternity leave, but she will return to ASPIRE shortly. Until then, Jing Qi will look after F&R issues.
