The sexual dysfunction may be the cause as well as the result of Infertility. There are many men who suffer silently. Even I have seen couples who didn’t have a single episode of penetrative sex because of Erectile Dysfunction and they came directly to the Fertility Clinic. On repeated questions, they revealed this problem.
On the other hand, when we advise “Timed Intercourse” , it affects the sexual function. The particular timing of sex leads to performance anxiety.
So, I feel we should allow the men to open up and we should be open-minded to discuss this issue, which is often neglected.
