3. The Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Fertility Treatments [FLYER]

Organised by ASPIRE Education Committee

COVID-19 has undoubtedly changed how assisted conception treatment is being offered. Travel restriction has prevented some couples from pursuing treatment outside their own countries. The financial impact has made it necessary for some of our patients to delay treatment. Less expensive treatment options are becoming more popular. Everywhere, tele-medicine is emerging, and virtual clinics are growing in demand. The transport of donated gametes from one country to another is happening more often to overcome the travel restrictions and quarantine requirement. Vaccination prior to conception or during pregnancy are frequently asked questions. Clinics have to modify their practice to meet new expectations. Consequently, ASPIRE has put together this webinar on “The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on fertility treatments” by inviting three distinguished speakers to address these various issues.
